Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 August 2026 · simplemarketing.dev
simplemarketing.dev (“simplemarketing”, “we”, “us”) helps small businesses run their own marketing. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we handle and why. We are currently in a United States-only beta and only serve customers in the US.
The short version: we never sell your data to anyone. We only ever share information with the service providers we need to run the product for you, and only to provide the service you asked for — never for their own marketing.
This policy covers two different groups of people. First, our customers — the businesses who sign up and use simplemarketing. Second, visitors to the ad landing pages we host on our customers' behalf. The two are handled differently, so each has its own section below.
Information we collect from customers
When you use simplemarketing, we hold:
How we use it
We use this information to run simplemarketing for you: to sign you in, generate copy and images, build and host your landing pages, set up campaigns on your own ad accounts, take payment for your plan, send you the emails the service needs to send, and keep everything working and secure. We do not use it to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with (our service providers)
We don't build all of this ourselves, so a small set of trusted companies help us run it. We describe them by the job they do rather than by name. Each one only ever receives what it needs to do that job for you, and only to provide the service you asked for — never for their own marketing:
Beyond these, the only time we would ever hand over information is if the law requires it, or as part of transferring the business itself — and even then only as part of continuing to provide the service. Any transfer of your data happens solely to provide the service to you, if at all. If you need the specific companies behind these categories — for a vendor review, for example — just ask us and we'll tell you.
Visitors to landing pages we host
We host ad landing pages on behalf of our customers. If you arrive at one of these pages after clicking an ad, this section is for you.
On these pages we act as a service provider for the business that ran the ad — not for ourselves. We process visitor information only to deliver the page and pass results back to that business:
If you want a business to delete an inquiry you submitted, or you have questions about how it uses your details, contact that business directly — they control that information. We can help route your request to them.
Cookies
On the simplemarketing app we use a single session cookie to keep you signed in — nothing more. On the landing pages we host, the advertising pixels chosen by the business running the ad may set cookies so their ad platforms can measure results. We keep the plumbing built so a consent layer can be added as we expand beyond the US.
Keeping your data safe, and how long we keep it
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, strict separation between one customer's data and another's (enforced by the database itself), least-privilege access for the people and systems that need it, and nightly encrypted backups we test can be restored. We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and operational needs, then delete or anonymise it.
Your choices
You can view and export the data in your account, correct your details, disconnect any ad account at any time, and close your account. If you'd like a copy of your data or want it deleted, just ask us.
